Missing in Action

With their driving percussion and angular guitars how did I miss out on The Comsat Angels in 1980? On the heels of, say, Dirk Wears White Sox, this is the kind of sound that exemplifies that era for me.

Pushing the medium away from tedium is not a surefire way to the rock and roll limos but it can be highly rewarding. To the impressionably listener who was raised on the FM radio of Elton John and Queen and Zeppelin.

This is something else entirely. This is that other avenue of Rock. This is where John Lydon and the PiL guys would live.
