Sometimes the members of bands are so talented that they go on to greatness with others and they, individually, are actually stronger in contribution than they were in their own creations. 

That is not the case with Random Hold. These guys would go on to play drums with XTC or play guitar for Peter Gabriel (or become politicians and tv producers) but I am left wondering what might have happened had Random Hold stayed together. 

They remind me of Wire, only good. 

Experimental rock that works in clubs and probably is best in there. It’s very progressive and arty but also traffics hard in that New Wave. And also one hundred percent listenable but also terrifically off putting.
