It’s rare that a band and an album sounds exactly like it’s name. This is controlled ugly, punk by way of the Pogues, epic clunky rock that calls to mind Titus Andronicus (Two Little Boys..it’s impossible that Patrick Stickles has not heard this song).
“Whimsy Zoom Zoom” takes its cue from The Clash but not Sandinista Clash, not pretentious Clash. These guys are having fun. You can practically smell this band.

This whole thing is madcap and impossible to describe but if I owned a record store I would put it on every once in a while cuz I guarantee you someone would buy it.
