Reviewed by Allen Lulu Released: October 9 1981 Bodine Bodine Genre: Dutch Rock Rating: 2.75 out of 5 Chukka metal is in full ascent and Holland’s Bodine is trying to jump on that bandwagon. This was the first of three records before they hung it up. It’s all pretty pedestrian. I almost wonder if they heard “Train Kept a Rollin’” and decided to try to rewrite it as “Freight Train”. And, look, I always want to hear something new in the same idiom that I love because I get bored. But, they aren’t really bringing anything to the table except pentatonic licks and growly vocals.
