Released: 1980 Snakeye Shape Up Or Ship Out Genre: Mwaa-Mwaa Wocka-Wah Rating: 2.9 out of 5 Highlights: Shape Up or Ship Out Thish kicks off with some shweet, shweet Frammmmmmpton emohhhhhhshun talk-box on the opening track, a spot-on, greasy, funky, Aerosmith knock-ff. That first track is great, but it's the kind of stuff the Stones were tossing off as album filler five years before this. Second track swings into full cowbell mode, and I was hopeful. After that, it all falls apart. These guys are really late to the party. James Gang had already ridden AGAIN by 1970---and that was ten years ago.
