You know what this reminds me of? Another Canadian riff heavy rock band called Danko Jones.
And just like Danko I appreciate Frank but am reluctant to revisit his music. Does that make sense? I mean, he’s certainly talented and I bet he crushed it live but, in the end, it’s much ado about riffage.
Incidentally, Danko’s first track I ever heard, “Bounce” should have been enough to turn me into an every album devouring fan.
It didn’t. Same with Soda.
