Opening with the snarky “Girls Can Get It” is not a great choice for my first Dr. Hook album. They start things off with a song that someone actually sat down and wrote about how it’s easier for girls to get some than it is for men?
Now, I would have a problem with this because it’s sung by a dude but it’s written by a woman. Give it to her to sing. Otherwise you sound like a friend of Benny Mardones complaining at the bar.
Omg, the horror show of these lyrics don’t stop. “That Didn’t Hurt Too Bad”…is…execrable.
This band is a roofie made into human form.
