What is your wish? ME: Was Golden Earring's song "Radar Love" part of a whole scene in the Netherlands? GENIE: Your wish is granted! ME: Nooo, wait! No! That wasn't a wish! GENIE: Too late! Here is Wild Cats Moaning' by New Adventure. ME: Hey, this isn't half bad. A mashup of Jim Carroll, Dire Straits, ZZ Top. They're a tight boogie band! GENIE: I am the genie of sound - Everybody get down hooah! ME: Whoa, the drummer's name is Henk Torpedo. GENIE: I am the genie of sound - Everybody get down hooah! ME: Hey, the last track is a Dr. Feelgood song! GENIE: I am the genie of sound - ME: Everybody get down hooah! --------------------------------------------- FINAL VERDICT: The album starts out clean like Dire Straits but gets progressively gritty and chugging. Song titles like Midnight Magic Maniac, Highway Fever, I'm Movin', One Way Love, Gambler To The Backbone, and Cat On The Run offer truth in advertising. Check it out if you like Status Quo, Golden Earring, and Joan Jett. They sound like they would've been a great pub band.
