Released: 1980 Walter Rossi Diamonds For The Kid Genre: Very Competent Rock Rating: 4 out of 5 Highlights: Down By the Water Sniffin’ the Breeze, Feelin’ the Freeze I’m always nervous when I see albums that feature the artist, shirt opened to the navel, brandishing a guitar. I worry that they are trying to be Bruce and, judging this album by it’s cover was not a mistake. That opener, “Down by the Waterfall” drips with more E Street than the Jukes ever mustered. But, from there we get a bunch of really adequate rockers, the kind you expect from a seasoned session man.
