Last year’s offering from this group was not my cuppa, even though I like this kind of sound.
Like any of this stuff, unless it’s magical, it can get a bit repetitive but the side one closer, “The Conqueror” is actually kind of great and the swirling metal of the Side Two opener “For the Sake of Heaviness” more than make up for any flab.
